Bedtime story.
Cant seem to sleep my tiredness away.
*****
bedek2 im telling my child a story.
Once upon a time, in a faraway land.. there was a little sumthynk sumthynk hatching inside a royal, rich nest. Itz not a golden egg, nor is it a normal egg. It looks like a golden egg, but it is pearl white with a nice sheen to it. Just gleaming under the sun..
It is sumthynk, bursting with promising secrets, white and soft, like a small perfectly oval-shaped egg resting in its grand silk. Entirely innocent and not reallie an irony, people who cant have it always tempt on it.
Prolly in their eyes, this thing just glitters playfully at them and if only they could reach out their hand, they could just grab and play with it for a second, before squeezing it til it bursts and shatters.
But no, itz not easy. This lil sumthynk sumthynk is hard to capture as it is being guarded by whom we call 2 parents, protectively protecting their little innocent baby.
These bad people.. they just wanna test their.. capability u noe, chasing sumthynk u cant have. Or in this case, it was being offered to them in silver platter, by one of the parent.
Now, now...
how could they resist?
so pretty much when this thing is being tampered with, it bursts!
u cant put it all bak together, even with much effort or patience or time. coz u see, when it was tampered with, it leaves some sort.. hm like a grubby fingerprint marks by the bad people..like, the parent of this special sumthynk has failed in protecting their precious, and some intruder has managed to weasel thier way in, just to... just beacause they can. or because one of the parent, has allow them to.
so now, the thing does not glitter anymore. it onli glitters when it's protected by the parents with TLC. which is tender loving care, honey.
Anyways, this lil sumthynk sumthynk felt sad. It felt like one of itz parents has failed on him and so, while the other parents tries very much to soothe it, itz dissapointment is being absorbed, by the mum. coz mums are like tt, am i not baby?
then i'll stop and look at him and caress his head while he looks at me and giggle.and now, time has past by.. the mum still kept on blowing gentle blow to the child, but the pain of the child has now seeped inside her.. while the dad, i guess, does his fair share of work too but feigns ignorance on the mum. never the better one, this mum.
outside the nest, sumthynk better is always passing by and mummy feels invisible..
but cut story short, coz bedtime is now here, all of it doesnt matter now because well.. the mum too learnt tt there should be sumthynk better out there for her too.
So moral of the story, hmm.. wads the moral? No matter wad the circumstance, people always move on. Actuallie there's another flipside moral of the story, dun matter how broken or shattered sumthynk is, if u slowly painstakingly put it back one by one, it will surely be put back altogether. which means, alar... i guess moral is, u can do wadever u want.
Goodnite now darling.
kiss his forehead.
